| 内容記述 | 禅宗に関心をよせる人の実践がさまざまな分野で私たちのくらしに大きな影響を及ぼし、くらしの創造に貢献している。その実態と理由の探求のため、禅宗及び禅仏教徒の思想と行動を研究することは重要であるといえよう。本稿では、児童福祉分野における実践者辻光文が、僧侶ではなく在家仏教徒としてみずからの道を生きていくようになるまでを考察することから、このテーマにせまる。若き日の辻は、他人のつらさにいてもたってもいられず、ほんものの生きかたを、切に探求し、苦闘のなかにあった。やがて、辻は師である柴山全慶を通じ、あらゆる場で禅仏教徒としての実践があることを体得する。そして、在家仏教徒としての道を歩むようになる。辻は、自ら及び向き合うひとやことがらに対し恐ろしいほどに真摯である。そこには「勢い」とでもいえるものがある。この「勢い」は、実は、禅仏教徒のひとつのあらわれではないだろうか。「勢い」が自らの行為が展開する「現場」への強い志向となり、実践となってあらわれ、その実践がさらなる実践をよび、「螺旋」のように展開していく。この禅仏教徒の「螺旋」こそが、人びとのくらしに大きな影響を及ぼす実践として展開していくのであろう。禅への理解を深めるとともにこの「螺旋」についての解明が今後のテーマといえる。もちろん、辻が在家として生きることになったのちの、福祉分野での実践の考察も、今後も、引き続き探求すべきテーマであることはいうまでもない。 | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The practice of the person who has interest in Zen Buddhism greatly influences our lives in various ways. To explore the situation and reason, It is important that we study the idea of Zen Buddhism and the practice of Zen Buddhists. By studying the process that Kobun TUJI - a practitioner in the field of child welfare - comes to live in his way as a lay Buddhist in life, not as a priest, we approach this theme. TUJI, when young, was not able to bear the pain of other people. He struggled seriously with this. Through his experience with Zenkei Shibayama - a Zen Master - TUJI had learned that the practice of the Zen Buddhist can be found everywhere. And so, TUJI had come to walk the road of a lay Buddhist.TUJI was very faithful for a person to meet a person and a matter to meet. So to speak, There is a "force". In fact, would not this "force" be one of expression of the Zen Buddhist? This "force" becomes the strong intention to "the scene of the practice" that own act presents, the Practice call further practice and develop it like "a spiral". This "spiral" of the Zen Buddhist would unfold as practice to have a big influence on the living of people. We immediately must deepen understanding to Zen, and to go to the elucidation about this "spiral" Of course it goes without saying that it is the theme that the consideration of the practice in the field of welfare of TUJI should search in the future. | |||||||||||||||||
