| 内容記述 | 本論文では、旧約聖書や新約聖書で障害者がどのようにとらえられているのかを明らかにしている。旧約聖書には、障害者への配慮を書かれた箇所はあるが、他方で神の戒めに従わない時には障害を持つという罰があると書かれ、障害者への差別とみられる表現も書かれている。そのため、文献研究によって、罪の結果の罰としての障害は、個人に語られたものというより、他宗教が混在する中で一神教を貫くために手段として語られた側面があったこと、障害者への差別的表現も時代背景を踏まえた解釈によって直接の差別的表現ではないことを明らかにした。その上で、イエスの登場によって、だれもが罪びとであり、障害が罰であるという側面が完全に否定されたことを論じている。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The objective of this study is to clarify how physically-challenged people are understood in the Old and the New Testaments. In some parts of the Old Testament, physical disability is treated to be the punishment to those who do not observe the commandments of God, which appears to be discriminations to the physically-challenged, although care to them is recommended in other parts. In this study, the expressions of physical disabilities as punishments to sins are interpreted to have been written for protecting the monotheism from the contamination of other religions rather than for teaching individuals. In other words, the apparently discriminatory expressions to the physically-challenged are considered not to have been intentional. The interpretation of physical disability as punishments from God has been completely denied since the birth of Jesus Christ, for whom all people are sinners. | |||||||||
